Funeral services were held Friday, November 7, 2014, at Saulters Moore Chapel in Prentiss for Mrs. Marjorie Nell Dyess, age 77, who passed away on November 5 at Forrest General hospital in Hattiesburg. Interment followed at Greens Creek Cemetery. Saulters Moore Funeral Home of Prentiss was in charge of all arrangements.

Rev. Jake Stanton and Rev. Millard Moak officiated. Pallbearers were Timothy Dyess, Jeffrey Pierce, Michael Goddard, Tristen Reid, Justin Sylvest, Eric Dyess, Brandon Dyess and Kevin Dyess.

Marjorie was born on September 25, 1937, in Wayne County, MS. She worked as a retail clerk for 20 years for Hudson Salvage. She was a member of Society Hill Baptist Church.

She is survived by four sons, Randy Dyess of Columbia, Timothy Michael Dyess of Oakvale, Greg Dyess of Sumrall and Terry M. Dyess of Oakvale.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands, Mack Dyess and Kermit Dyess; one daughter; and one son.
