Mary Turnage McPhail, age 59, of Silver Creek, died Sunday, December 28, 2014, at her residence in Silver Creek. Funeral services were held Wednesday, December 31, at Wilson Funeral Home in Monticello. Burial was in Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery. Wilson Funeral Home of Monticello was in charge of arrangements.

Mary enjoyed her grandchildren, pets, reading, and just enjoying life in general.

Her mother, Catherine A. Turnage, preceded her in death.

Survivors include husband, Larry McPhail of Silver Creek; father, Charley C. Turnage of Silver Creek; son, Joshua Turnage of Silver Creek; daughter, Beth A. Herring of Silver Creek; Candice Cook of Silver Creek; sister, Leila Turnage Sutton of Silver Creek; brothers, Curtis W. Turnage of Silver Creek and Charles V. Turnage of Raleigh, NC; grandchildren, Lakin Vaughn, Maryssa Grimes, Mary Gail Turnage, Joshua Cooper Turnage, Laylonnie Grimes.
