Funeral services were held Monday, May 2, 2016 at Sweetwater C.M.E. Church for Mr. Micheal “Mike” Hall, 53, who died Monday, April 25, 2016 at Southwest Regional Hospital, McComb, MS. Rev. James Loftin officiated with interment following in the church cemetery.  Johnson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Micheal Hall was born to the late E. L. and Annie Bell Hall in Laurel, MS.  He joined Sweetwater C.M.E. Church at an early age. He attended Bassfield High School.
He was the father of four children; two daughters, Joycelynn Berry of Gulfport, MS and Lawonda (Marcus) Baker of Bassfield, MS; two sons, Orves Baker and Kelton Hathorn both of Bassfield, MS; He was the grandfather of 2 girls and 2 boys.
He was preceded in death by three sisters, Charlene Barnes, Barbara Hall and Arzella Durr; one brother, Orves Lee Hall.

He is survived by: four sisters, Sarah (L. C.) Johnson of Ypsilanti, MI, Martha Thompson and Ruby Book both of Bassfield, MS and Sarah (Frank) Barnett of Collins, MS; two brothers, Percy (Cheri)Hall of Bassfield, MS and Edward J. (Vickie) Hall of Jackson, MS; special friend, Della White; many other relatives and friends.
