Funeral services were held Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at Saulters Moore Funeral Chapel for Mrs. Bonnie Hamilton, age 84, who passed away Saturday July 9, 2016 at The Jefferson Davis Extended Care Facility  in Prentiss, MS.  Interment followed in Antioch Cemetery.  Saulters Moore Funeral Home of Prentiss handled arrangements.

Rev. Butch Harmon officiated. Pallbearers were: Kevin Polk, Keith Polk, Austin Hamilton, Curtis McNeil, Kenneth Smith, and Mike Smith.

Bonnie Jean Smith Hamilton was born on October 14, 1931.  Her parents were Daniel Jasper Smith and Eunice Jackson.  She was a homemaker and a lifelong resident of Jefferson Davis County. She was a member of Antioch Baptist Church.

She is survived by one daughter, Linda Polk and husband, Harold;  one son, Danny Hamilton and wife, Wanda, all of Prentiss, MS ;  8 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Larue, a brother, and one son, Ricky Hamilton.
