The Prentiss Headlight—A group of Prentiss High players on the field in Friday night’s win over the Collins Tigers

The Bulldogs won against former PHS coach Eric Booth by a score of 22-14 making them 2-0.

Prentiss made it a defensive game by holding the Tigers scoreless in the first quarter and a majority of the second quarter.

The Bulldogs began to capitalize offensively, adding scores from first through third quarters, but didn’t score in the fourth.

The Bulldogs had three touchdowns called back during the game.

The  Bulldogs got revenge on the Tigers this year after a blowout game last year in Prentiss 55-0.

With the win, this ended a long time rivalry between the two schools as the farewell season rolls on.

Next Friday the Bulldogs host the Heidelberg High School  Oilers. Kickoff is set for 7:00 p.m.
